Secretary

Duties

  • Motivate members through his or her enthusiastic attitude toward PRSSA.

  • Take meeting minutes at E-Board and general meetings.

  • Attend any leadership seminar or caucus that would reflect on the betterment of the chapter.

  • Maintain an updated record of chapter minutes, photographs, anniversaries, news clippings and other information to record chapter's history and accomplishments. 

  • Notify PRSSA headquarters and sponsoring PRSA chapters in chapter officers and advisors.

  • Recommend blogs about public relations to post on Twitter.

  • Take attendance and prepare sign-in sheets at each general and E-Board meeting.

  • Keep track of announcements and notes relevant to chapter members to be read during general meetings.
